Lucknow. The U.P. GST Appellate Tribunal Bar Association organized an interactive session at the Hotel Crowne Plaza in Lucknow on the topic: “Practical Insights and Solutions to Challenges in the Online Filing of GSTAT Appeals.”
Dr. Justice (Retd.) Sanjay Kumar Mishra, President of the GST Appellate Tribunal, graced the event as the Chief Guest. He provided guidance regarding the practical difficulties and queries faced by tax professionals while filing appeals before the GST Appellate Tribunal.
Present on this occasion were members from the Lucknow, Varanasi, and Prayagraj benches of the GST Appellate Tribunal:
Santosh Kumar Srivastava (Judicial Member), Narendra Kumar (Judicial Member), Alok Chopra (Technical Member – Centre),
Arvind Kumar (Technical Member – State), Mahtab Ahmed (Judicial Member), Narendra Bahadur Yadav (Judicial Member), and Ananjay Kumar Rai (Technical Member – State).
Additionally, Registrars from various benches, speakers from the National Informatics Centre (NIC), and officials from the GST Department, Lucknow, were also present at the event.
Kumar Saurabh, President of the U.P. GST Appellate Tribunal Bar Association, stated that over 150 professionals from the fields of taxation and law participated in this session, including Chartered Accountants, Advocates, Cost Accountants, and representatives from the industry sector.
Participants from various cities across Uttar Pradesh—such as Agra, Bareilly, Ayodhya, Basti, Kanpur, Varanasi, Raebareli, and Prayagraj—attended the event, thereby contributing to its success.
