Sudhanshu Trivedi Shares Insights on India’s Cultural Consciousness and Spiritual Strength

FICCI FLO Lucknow organized a special and insightful session on the theme “India’s Mind, Body, and Soul” at Hotel Taj Mahal, Lucknow. The event featured Rajya Sabha MP Sudhanshu Trivedi as the keynote speaker, while Dr. Mayank Somani shared valuable perspectives on health and lifestyle-related issues.
Addressing the audience, Dr. Mayank Somani, MD and CEO of Apollo Medics Hospitals, emphasized the importance of preventive healthcare. He highlighted that in the face of evolving lifestyles, maintaining regular health check-ups and mental well-being has become increasingly important. He encouraged people to avoid placing unnecessary pressure on themselves and to adopt a balanced lifestyle.
India’s Cultural and Spiritual Strength
In his address, Sudhanshu Trivedi remarked that India is establishing a new identity on the global stage—not only economically but also spiritually and culturally. He stated that India’s greatest strength lies in its culture, family values, and holistic approach to life.
He further noted that India today is becoming increasingly conscious of health, mental peace, and mindful living, thereby fostering an emotionally resilient and spiritually enriched society.
He said:
“Consciousness is connected to the mind; the brain merely acts as a receiver. We are reaching the threshold of consciousness.”
Views on Women’s Dignity and Indian Traditions
Sharing his thoughts on women’s dignity and respect, Mr. Trivedi stated that India represents a civilization that places the highest respect on women.
He observed that Indian traditions regard women as a source of energy, a belief reflected prominently in festivals such as Navratri.
Perspective on Vedanta and Artificial Intelligence
He further stated that the concept of the mind, body, and soul originates from Vedanta and that the complete unity of the Atma (Soul) and Brahman (Ultimate Reality) cannot be fully explained through Artificial Intelligence (AI).
Referring to the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, he stated that the BJP government has worked towards ensuring that women receive their rightful respect and place in society. He also remarked that India currently ranks among the world leaders in digital transactions.
Distinguished Guests in Attendance
The event was conceptualized by Simran Sahni, Chairperson of FICCI FLO Lucknow, while the proceedings were conducted by Jyoti Diwan.
Former FLO Chairpersons Arushi Tandon, Swati Verma, and Vibha Agarwal, along with members of the FICCI FLO Lucknow Executive Committee and several distinguished guests, were also present at the event.
At the conclusion of the session, attendees described the event as inspiring and thought-provoking, appreciating it as a meaningful initiative focused on India’s holistic progress, mental health, and cultural values.
